The Visionary Behind Amakhosi

Amakhosi began with one man’s conviction that township talent deserved a professional stage. From a karate club in Makokoba to Zimbabwe’s first black-owned theatre, Cont Mhlanga built an institution that has now trained thousands and toured the world.

Legally governed under the Amakhosi Foundation Trust, Amakhosi serves as a bridge between grassroots talent and sustainable professional creative careers.
